Activities – Club Vigilant

Club Vigilant is a group of single Christians committed to carrying out a life of chastity until marriage. They fight the falsehoods proposed by modern society that it is impossible to achieve a life of sexual abstinence until marriage. The group is composed of young boys and girls from several denominations of the evangelic churches of Burkina Faso. There group includes some young Catholics and Muslims who, having been touched by their peers (the vigilant ones), were convinced of the need for them to abstain from any sexual relations until marriage.

Vigilance fosters an atmosphere of support, community, and fellowship amongst the generation that represents both the greatest hope and are at the greatest risk in our fight against HIV/AIDS. Members study together at monthly meetings and engage their peers in the conversation. Seminars and camps are organized by Vigilance to support the club and create a Christian fellowship for the youth who will become the future leaders of the cause.
